Carolyn has a BSc in Biology and an MSc in Forensic Archaeology and is currently studying for a PHD in Criminal Justice studies specialising in the investigation of sexual offences.

She has worked for Hampshire Constabulary for over 21 years, starting out as a Fingerprint Enhancement Technician and soon then moving across into the realms of Crime Scene Investigation and varying roles within. She is now Temporary Deputy Head of Scientific Services and oversees the provision of forensic services for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight and provides forensic consultancy advice and training to external agencies. She has vast experience in managing numerous serious and major crime scenes.
