Eric Ngalle Charles

The acclaimed writer, poet and playwright talks about his journey from Cameroon as an asylum seeker, and how, once settled in Cardiff, he developed as a writer to deal with the trauma, and began working as a champion and organiser of black and ethnic minority writers.

Performing as a poet at Write a Note, Southampton City of Sanctuary and City Council are hosting this special event, additional to the programme, to enable Eric to tell his inspiring story to a wider audience.

FREE. Booking not required.

There will be a collection of donations to Southampton City of Sanctuary after the event.
